Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA)

Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted by our friendly team and transferred to your hotel in Moshi. Take this day to rest and acclimate to the new environment.

Day 2: Gear Check and Preparation

Today, we will have a comprehensive gear check to ensure you are well-equipped for the climb. Our team will assist you in verifying that all your equipment has arrived and is in good condition. Any necessary rentals or purchases can be made at this time. Enjoy the rest of the day exploring the town or relaxing at your hotel.

Day 3: Machame Gate to Machame Camp

After breakfast, we will drive to Machame Gate. Complete the registration process and begin your trek through the dense rainforest. This initial hike will take you to Machame Camp (2,835m/9,301ft), where you will spend your first night on the mountain.

Day 6: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp

Begin the day by descending into the start of the Great Barranco, a huge ravine. Climb the Great Barranco Wall, which looks more intimidating than it actually is. Continue across the Karanga Valley to Karanga Camp (4,035m/13,235ft), your final stop before the base camp.
